How the estimator works
The calculator multiplies the wet area by a per-square-foot rate for the water category, then applies adjustments for flooring, building type, delay and after-hours work. Rates reflect regional restoration pricing and a premium for finish levels common on the island.
The result does not include rebuild work, plumbing repair or insurance deductibles, and the real price depends on a site reading. Treat the range as a way to judge scale before calling.
Estimator questions
[Process] How accurate is this estimate?
It gives a typical range and is useful for judging the scale of a job. A site visit with moisture readings can move the real number up or down, especially when water has traveled behind walls.
[Cost] Why is sewage priced higher than clean water?
Sewage requires containment, protective gear and disposal, and porous materials must be removed instead of dried. Those extra steps add labor and materials that clean-water jobs do not need.
[Safety] Does the estimate include flooring replacement?
No. The range covers extraction, removal and drying, and flooring, drywall and paint are rebuild costs paid to a contractor after drying is verified.
